Ryan is a Southern California native who has studied art and history throughout his life. He focused on Graphic Design and Art History while attending Cal. State Northridge. As a worker, he is truly a jack of many trades. An extremely hard working and having worked in construction at an early age with his father, then later as a general contractor in San Diego, CA. An avid surfer and skydiver, he's a constant adventure seeker. In his late teens and early 20's "RED" was well known locally as a graffiti muralist, but after too many confrontations with other "writers" he decided to put his work on canvas.

Mostly concentrating on his own style of Pop art he sold many paintings on Ebay in the late 90's and Early 2000's. Unfortunately, due to the events of 9/11 it was no longer profitable so he went to work in the trades. Art has always been a part of his life and now it is for the public to enjoy as well. Please rest assured that any and all artwork sold by HPA is 100% guaranteed and has Ryan's stamp of approval.

In a quirk of fate, the pandemic allowed him to drop-ship his artwork all over the world. Hitting up every state in the process (Even Hawaii and Alaska). He has been creating pixel paintings since 2004, everything from Super Mario to Pitfall. Ryan's personal skills include, but are not limited to: Graphic and Web Design, Canvas and Paper artwork in any medium (Acrylic, Airbrush, Pinstriping, Gold Leaf, Watercolor, Oil, Sculpture (Metal, Wood, Clay). Basically, if you can envision it, he can create it. "The Sky is NOT the Limit". Ryan and all other artists associated with Hot Pop Art are dedicated to the quality of products, the service to clients, and overall excellence in anything that is taken on. As well, most of Ryan's auctions and listings benefit a variety of charities.
